Vickey Beans

A native of Vacaville, Vickey came to Dr. Carman's office 8 years ago after working 15 years as a home care/pre-school provider.  Her work with children  in addition to a marriage of 26 years and raising two of her own undoubtedly contributed to one of her greatest strengths--being unflappable under pressure.  She brings a calmness and life experience to the office which is appreciated by staff and patients alike.  It likewise makes her a star at her recent favorite activity--spending time with her new granddaughter.

LeAnne Lewis

Originally from Southern California (we forgive her) Leanne came to us by way of a major life change in 2002.  After working in the banking industry for 17 years she married her high school sweetheart, moved to Northern California, and made a career change to dentistry.  Dr. Carman was the lucky recipient of this change as LeAnne brought her exceptional customer service skills honed in the banking industry to the practice. When not in the office spoiling patients,  she is likely to be found spoiling her two dogs or pursuing her interests in outdoor sports, travel, and interior decorating.

Tera Whaley-Nakatani

A native of Vacaville, Tera obtained her RDA in 2000.  After working in pediatrics and orhtodontics for a time, she worked the past 7 years in Endodonntics.  This expereince combined with her attention to detail have added greatly to the office's efficency and organization.  She is married with a "wonderful" husband and stepdaughter.  Her only complaint is that Dr. Carman does not allow her to bring her 2 dogs to work  as did  her former orthodontic employer in Boulder, Colorado.   A lover of the outdoors she can usually be found playing or coaching on the softball and soccer field in the spring.

Renee Lewmaster

A native of Rogue River, Oregon Rene later gained a different perspective on the world living in Zurich, Switzerland and Hawaii.  She continued to pursue her love of exotic places by working 7 years at Fed Ex with the great perk of free air fare on their planes.  One of her other loves--animals--lead to her work as a surgical assistant in a veterininary office.  This later spurred her interest in human healthcare and ultimately the field of dentistry.  She has been an RDA for three years and joined our office two years ago.  She has a lovely daughter, a dog named Bubba, and Jack Sparrow the cat.

Facility

As with  medicine, dental technology is changing. From cosmetic procedures to dental implants, dental technology is evolving and improving.  Our office incorporates these evolving innovations and technologies in edndotontics. One of the major advancements in our specialty  is the use of an operating microscope to enhance visibility during treatment. Other technologies include digital radiography,  electronic record keeping, ultrasonics, electronic apex locators, and microscopic digital photography.

While the use of the "latest and greatest" in  and of itself does not ensure quality care, it represents a significant part of our commitment to providing the very best possible care to our patients.
